Individuals who are energetic, enthusiastic and committed volunteers to support our efforts to help the underprivileged get access to better healthcare and education through better community outreach. Know and understand the issues of the community, help coordinate with the volunteer teem to plan and execute small and large events and activities. As Volunteers (Events), you will play a key role in helping us carry out activities and events to promote access to Healthcare and Education as well as help raise funds to sustain our efforts and initiatives. Networking ability and being people friendly as well as a go getter would be advantageous.

Volunteer - Students Group Role

We are inviting energetic, enthusiastic and committed College and University students as volunteers to support our events and activities e.g. planning, managing and execution. As Volunteers, you will play a key role promoting us and community issues as well as in helping us, promote access to Healthcare and Education for the underprivileged and help us raise funds to sustain our efforts and initiatives through activities and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Networking across student groups and professional organizations. • Assist in ideation for developing, implementing events and activities. • Help organize, plan and promote events and activities within the student body and community. • Engage with community members and raise awareness about our cause. • Support the volunteers team and management. • Collaborate with fellow volunteers, e.g. students, professors, professionals, businesses and others. • Concentrate on groups e.g. Students, Alumni, and professionals and organizations, incorporating private events and more. This position will focus on organizing internal and external events to enhance awareness, aiming to achieve objectives and uphold a consistently high level of service for all stakeholders. This role involves frequent interaction within the student body/groups and communities. • Reporting directly to the Head of Events and Volunteers to plan, coordinate, execute, and overseeing networking, events and student group activities, spanning student affairs, alumni engagements, and external event requests. • Create an annual (semester wise) events calendar considering academic schedules and introducing new initiatives for our events. .

Qualifications for volunteer - Students Group ideally may include:

• Your academic qualifications and work experience (if any). • A genuine passion for assisting people/communities. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Enthusiasm for community engagement and teamwork. • Previous experience in networking, fundraising or event planning is a plus, but not required. • Ability to commit to a regular volunteering schedule. • Previous experience in marketing, branding, public relations through conventional and digital • social media channels are a plus, but not required.
