Job details: Individuals who are energetic, enthusiastic and committed Tutors/Teachers to support our Tutoring activities. Experience in Tutoring/Teaching as well as experience in other areas of Education would be an asset but is not required.

Tutors/Teachers - For subjects of the Ontario School Curriculum

We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic and committed Tutors/Teachers to help improve students learning and competence. By being a member of our Tutoring team you will play an important role.

Qualifications for Tutors/Teachers ideally may include:

• Could be individuals who are qualified teachers (OCT) or have Bachelors (undergraduate) level education e.g. B.Ed or have Masters (postgraduate) level education e.g. M.Ed or are in college/university (any field of study) and wish to share your knowledge/expertise and help pay your way through college/university. • A genuine passion for teaching and assisting people/communities. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Enthusiasm for student, community engagement and teamwork. • Previous experience in tutoring/teaching is a plus, but not required. • Ability to commit to a regular tutoring/teaching schedule. • Previous experience in teaching resources/material creation and dissemination of content through in person or virtual/online platforms e.g. Zoom, Webex, Skype are a plus, but not required.

Pay: No Salary / Tutors provide hourly services. We are a Non-Profit organization
